ACL Race rod bearings are tri-metal engine bearings designed for higher RPM conditions. The combination of design, metallurgy and engineering provides a strengthened construction for high-performance engines.
The set contains ACL Race Series rod bearings. Increased eccentricity compensates for bore distortion at high RPM and assists with the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention
- Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip between the bearing and its housing

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
