ACL Race rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed for operation at higher engine speeds. Their construction combines a high-strength overlay, improved heat transfer and reliable bearing retention in the housing.
The ACL Race Series set includes rod bearings developed for high-performance engines and consistent clearance control.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention
- Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip in the housing
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high rpm and assist in forming hydrodynamic oil films
Suitable for: Honda Accord VI (CG/CH/CL), Honda Prelude IV (BB) / V (BB), Honda S2000 I (AP).
Engines: H22A, F20C, H22Z, F22C (H22A7, H22A1, H22A2, H22A4, H22A5, H22A8, H22Z1, F20C1, F20C2, F22C1). Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
