ACL Race Series are trimetal rod bearings designed for higher-RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering supports fatigue resistance and consistent bearing performance.
The rod bearing set includes 0.025mm extra clearance. Increased eccentricity helps compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assists in forming a hydrodynamic oil film.
- Trimetal construction with a high-strength overlay plate of reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and retention in the housing
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention
- No flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip between the bearing and housing
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
