ACL Race rod bearings for Lotus 2ZZ-GE

ACL Race rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed for higher RPM conditions and demanding engine operation.

The Lotus 2ZZ-GE set uses a high-strength overlay plate, hardened steel backs and construction that improves bearing retention and heat transfer. Different clearance versions are available, including 0.025 mm extra clearance.

• Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing
• Increased crush for improved bearing retention
• Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip in the housing
• Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
