ACL Race rod bearings for Mini B48

ACL Race Series are trimetal rod bearings designed for the loads associated with higher RPM conditions. Their design, metallurgy and engineering support consistent bearing performance.

The set contains ACL Race Series rod bearings. The construction is designed to improve bearing retention, heat transfer and the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.

• High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
• Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing
• Increased crush for improved bearing retention
• Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip in the housing
• Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM

Suitable for: MINI Mini Clubman II (F54), MINI Mini Convertible III (F57), MINI Mini Countryman II (F60), MINI Mini III (F55) / III (F56).

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
