ACL Race rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings developed for higher RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering supports consistent engine operation under demanding conditions.
The construction is designed to improve bearing lining support, retention in the housing and formation of a hydrodynamic oil film. The set includes ACL Race Series rod bearings.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs for improved bearing lining support and retention in the housing
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention
- Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip in the housing
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at higher RPM
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances
Suitable for: Mitsubishi L200 IV (KA/KB), Mitsubishi Pajero Pinin I, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport I (K90), Mitsubishi Pajero II (V20) / III (V60/V70) / IV (3DR/V80) / IV (5DR/V90).
Engines: 4M41. Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
