ACL Race Series trimetal rod bearings are designed for engines operating at higher RPM. The combination of design, metallurgy and engineering improves support for the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing.
The construction includes steel backs, increased crush and eccentricity, plus tight wall tolerances. The bearings are also designed to accommodate larger fillet radii on performance crankshafts.
- Trimetal construction with a high-strength overlay plate of reduced thickness
- Hardened steel backs to improve support for the bearing lining
- Increased crush and eccentricity for improved retention and hydrodynamic oil film formation
- Flash plating eliminated from the back to improve heat transfer and grip in the housing
- Enlarged ID chamfers on bearing edges for larger fillet radii on performance crankshafts
Suitable for: Ford Corsair I, Nissan 200SX I (S13), Nissan Bluebird I (T72/T12/U12), Nissan Pintara I (U12), Nissan Silvia II (S12).
Engines: CA20E, CA18DET, CA16, CA20S, CA18ET, CA16DE, CA18DE, CA18, CD17 (NISSANCA20E, CA18DET, CA16, CA20S, CA20E, CA18ET, CA16DE, CA18DE, CA18, CD17). Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
