ACL Race rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed for higher RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering is intended for demanding engine use.
The construction features a strengthened overlay plate and design solutions for improved bearing retention in the housing, heat transfer and hydrodynamic oil film formation.
- Trimetal construction with a high-strength overlay plate of reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs on all rod bearings to support the bearing lining and assist with bearing retention in the housing
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention
- No flash plating on the back to improve heat transfer and maximize grip between the bearing and its housing
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in hydrodynamic oil film formation
Suitable for: Nissan 100NX I (B13), Nissan 200SX I (S13).
Engines: SR20DET, SR20DE. Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
