ACL Race Series are trimetal rod bearings developed for higher RPM conditions. The combination of design, metallurgy and engineering provides consistent support for the bearing lining.
The set includes rod bearings with features designed to improve retention in the housing, heat transfer and the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.
- Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention
- No flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip between the bearings and housing
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
