ACL Race rod bearings for Nissan VG30E / VG30ET / VG30DETT …

ACL Race Series are trimetal engine bearings designed to withstand higher RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering provides a solution for engines operating under increased loads.

This set contains ACL Race Series rod bearings. The construction features improved bearing retention in the housing, increased eccentricity for high-RPM operation and consistent wall tolerances for maintaining consistent clearances.

• High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
• Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing
• Increased crush for improved bearing retention
• Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip between the bearing and its housing
• Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in forming hydrodynamic oil films
• Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
