ACL Race Series are trimetal rod bearings for high-performance engines, designed to withstand higher RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering provides increased durability for demanding use.
The set includes ACL Race Series con rod bearings. Increased eccentricity helps compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assists in the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties.
- Hardened steel backs on all rod bearings to improve bearing lining support and retention in the housing.
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing.
- Eliminated flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip between the bearings and housing.
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances.

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
