ACL Race Series rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed for operation at higher RPM conditions. Their combination of construction, metallurgy and engineering improves bearing lining support and retention in the housing.
The set contains ACL Race Series con rod bearings. Different versions are available according to bearing and crankshaft dimensions.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
- Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip in the housing
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in forming hydrodynamic oil films

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
