ACL Race rod bearings feature a trimetal construction for Subaru FB20, FB25 and FB16 engines. They are designed for higher RPM conditions, combining advanced design, metallurgy and engineering.
The set uses a high-strength overlay plate and hardened steel backs to support the bearing lining and improve retention in the housing.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
- No flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip in the housing
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances
Suitable for: Subaru Exiga I (YA5), Subaru Forester III (SH) / IV (SJ) / V (SK), Subaru Impreza IV (GJ) / IV (GP) / V (GK) / V (GT7) / V (GU6), Subaru Legacy V (BM/BR) / VI (BN9) / VII (BW), Subaru Levorg I (V1), Subaru Outback II (BS9) / IV (BR) / VI (BT), Subaru XV I (GP) / II (GT).
Engines: FB20, FB25, FB16. Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
