ACL Race rod bearings for Toyota 2AZ-FE / 1AZ-FE / 2AZ-FXE

ACL Race rod bearings use a tri-metal construction developed for high-performance engines and higher RPM conditions. The combination of design, metallurgy and engineering supports stable bearing operation under increased loads.

The set includes ACL Race Series rod bearings with features focused on improved lining support, bearing retention in the housing and consistent hydrodynamic oil film formation.

• High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
• Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing
• Increased crush for improved bearing retention
• Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip in the housing
• Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in hydrodynamic oil film formation

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
