ACL Race rod bearings for Toyota 3S-GE / 3S-GTE

ACL Race rod bearings use a trimetal construction designed for higher RPM conditions. The set includes ACL Race Series rod bearings.

The design supports reliable bearing retention in the housing, improved heat transfer and the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.

• Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing
• Increased crush for improved bearing retention
• Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip in the housing
• Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in forming hydrodynamic oil films
• Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
