ACL Race rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed for higher RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering provides improved fatigue resistance.
The set includes rod bearings with features that improve bearing retention in the housing, heat transfer and the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs and increased crush for improved bearing retention
- Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip in the housing
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances
Suitable for: Toyota Carina E VI (T19), Toyota Carina V (T17), Toyota Celica III (A60) / V (T16), Toyota Corolla V (AE86) / V (E80) / VI (E90) / VII (E10) / VIII (E11), Toyota MR2 I (AW1).
Engines: 4A-GE, 4A-GZE (4A-GE, 4A-GELC, 4A-GEC, 4A-GZE). Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
