ACL Race rod bearings for Vauxhall LS1 / LS2 / LS3

ACL Race Series are tri-metal rod bearings designed for higher-RPM operation. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering provides consistent support for high-performance engine applications.

This set contains ACL Race Series rod bearings. The construction incorporates features for improved bearing retention, heat transfer and formation of a hydrodynamic oil film.

• High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties.
• Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and better retention in the housing.
• Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing.
• No flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip between the bearing and housing.
• Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in forming a hydrodynamic oil film.

Suitable for: Vauxhall Monaro I (V2X), Vauxhall VXR8 I (VXR8).

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
