High-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) upgrade kit for 2.0T FSI engines.
The kit is designed for FSI EA113 engines with a timing belt and provides up to 50% greater flow than the original pump. This reduces the limitations of the standard pump, including on more powerful turbocharger modifications.
Component construction
- The 9.8 mm diameter piston and cylinder are precision-ground several times during production, ensuring very accurate tolerances.
- Each piston and cylinder are matched to one another by matched grinding and marked with a serial number.
- The HPFP components have a plasma DLC coating to reduce friction losses and improve performance.
- Dedicated engine software calibration for the HPFP is available from tuners for the kit.
Important: For the naturally aspirated 4.2L V8 FSI engines in the Audi B7 RS4, R8 V8 and B8 S5, 2 kits must be ordered because the kit is supplied individually.
Installation safety
Before dismantling the pump, the pressure in the fuel lines must be released. The lines are under very high pressure and can cause personal injury if depressurised incorrectly. Follow the appropriate procedure in the Bentley service manual.
Warning: Check the camshaft for wear before installation and always replace the cam follower.
