Bull-X downpipe 2.75″ for MINI Cooper S/JCW F56 2.0 Turbo

Do you want to increase the power of your turbocharged engine while also reducing the load on the turbocharger and surrounding components? Then this Bull-X product is an excellent starting point. The downpipe has a major effect on response and power, and forms the link between the turbocharger and the exhaust system. The larger the diameter and the better the catalytic converter flow, the more easily the turbocharger can discharge the processed exhaust gases through the exhaust system. This has a positive effect on torque and power.

Road use: This version is not approved for use on public roads and is intended solely for motorsport. For legal road use, only a version with an EG-approved catalytic converter from HJS is permitted; all other catalytic converter versions and decat pipes are intended for track use only.

Catalytic converter information: When selecting a downpipe without a catalytic converter or with a 100/200-cell catalytic converter, the engine control unit may display a fault from the post-catalytic-converter lambda sensor. This does not affect driving performance, as the first lambda sensor remains present and controls the engine. The post-catalytic-converter sensor is only used to monitor catalytic converter efficiency. The fault can be removed by adjusting the software through a specialist engine calibration.

Most vehicles up to the Euro 3 emissions standard do not have a post-catalytic-converter lambda sensor, so installation is possible without further adjustment or a fault message. HJS ECE and EOBD catalytic converters have a significantly higher washcoat content and very high oxygen storage capacity, which can prevent fault messages. The EOBD catalytic converters have been tested for this purpose up to Euro 4. Their durability and use are assured up to the Euro 6 emissions standard. On Euro 5/6 vehicles, the issues described above can only be avoided by selecting a catalytic converter with the appropriate ECE approval.
