BULL-X Exhausts produces downpipes to the highest standard. This downpipe for the VW Golf 7 GTI Performance and TCR with OPF, manufactured by HG Motorsport, is a complete replacement for the original part. Precise fitment and high-quality materials make this a high-quality upgrade. Optimising the diameter, pipe routing and catalytic converter significantly reduces the load on the turbocharger. Lower back pressure and reduced thermal load provide increased torque and power, quicker response and improved durability.

Note: On approximately 2 out of 10 vehicles, a fault caused by the differential pressure sensors may occur even with the ECE version. Selecting a catalytic converter without ECE approval may also trigger a downstream lambda sensor fault; this sensor monitors catalytic converter efficiency and does not restrict engine operation. The fault can be removed by adapting the software. Most vehicles up to Euro 3 emissions standard do not have a downstream lambda sensor. HJS ECE and EOBD catalytic converters contain a higher washcoat content and offer very high oxygen-storage capacity, which can help prevent fault messages. The EOBD catalytic converters have been tested for this issue up to Euro 4, while durability and use are assured up to Euro 6 emissions standard.
Road use: Only the version with the 200-cell HJS catalytic converter with ECE approval, used together with the OPF, is suitable for public-road use. All other catalytic-converter versions, including the decat version, are intended for track use only.
Suitable for: VW Golf VII (5G1).
