Bull-X electronic component with ECE approval for BMW M2 N55 (F-series)

ECE approval: Applies only to the following selection in the “Control mode selection” field: Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval.

This valved exhaust system has ECE approval. During driving, you can choose between Comfort and Sport mode. If the vehicle has driving profile selection, the system can be controlled through it. On vehicles without driving profile selection, control is possible using the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates whether the valve is currently open (light off) or closed (light on).

The control unit automatically closes the valve in all areas required by the ECE approval, regardless of the selected driving mode.

In general, Bull-X Tronic offers two control options:

• Sport (Dynamic, Race): The valve is controlled within the limits permitted by the ECE approval.
• Comfort mode: The valve is always closed, but opens during driving within the limits permitted by the ECE approval when the throttle is opened to 75% or more.

Road use: ECE approval applies only to the “Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval” selection in the “Control mode selection” field.

Suitable for: BMW M2 I (F22/F23/F45/F46/F87).

Approval

Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter).
