Road use: This Bull-X Tronic control unit is intended for use with an exhaust system carrying ECE approval. The system automatically closes the valve in all operating ranges required by the ECE approval, making this combination suitable for road use.
During driving, you can choose between Comfort and Sport modes. If the vehicle has a drive profile selection function, it can be used for control. For vehicles without drive profile selection, the supplied button is used instead. The button’s LED indicates the valve status: when the light is off, the valve is open; when the light is on, it is closed.
The Bull-X Tronic control unit provides two control options:
- Sport (Dynamic, Race): the valve is regulated within the limits permitted by the ECE approval.
- Comfort mode: the valve remains closed at all times, but opens during driving within the limits permitted by the ECE approval when the throttle is at least 75% open.
Note: ECE approval applies only to the selection “Bull-X Tronic control unit (with ECE approval)”.
Suitable for: Audi A3 IV (GY), Cupra Formentor I (KM7), Cupra Leon IV (KL1), SEAT Leon IV (KL1), Škoda Octavia IV (NX3), VW Golf VIII (CD1).

Approval
Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter). Versions marked “no ECE, track use only” have no approval and are not permitted for road use. If in doubt about the version, contact us and we will check for you.
