With ECE approval*: *Applies only to the following selection in the “Control mode selection” field: Bull-X Tronic control unit (with ECE approval).
This valve exhaust system has ECE approval. During driving, you can choose between Comfort and Sport modes. If your vehicle has drive profile selection, the system can be controlled through this function. For vehicles without drive profile selection, control is possible using the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates whether the valve is currently open (light off) or closed (light on).
The control unit automatically closes the valve in all operating ranges required by the ECE regulations, regardless of the selected mode.
The Bull-X Tronic offers two control options:
- Sport (Dynamic, Race): the valve is controlled within the limits permitted by the ECE regulations.
- Comfort mode: the valve is always closed, but opens while driving within the limits permitted by the ECE regulations when the throttle is 75% open.
Road use: ECE approval applies to the version selected as “Bull-X Tronic control unit (with ECE approval)”. Other versions are intended for track use only.
Suitable for: universal use (not vehicle-specific).
Approval
Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter). Versions marked “no ECE, track use only” have no approval and are not permitted for road use. If in doubt about the version, contact us and we will check for you.
