ECE approval: Applies only to the selection in the »Control mode selection« field: Bull-X Tronic control unit (with ECE approval).
This valve exhaust system has ECE approval and is intended for road use. During driving, you can choose between Comfort and Sport mode. If the vehicle has drive profile selection, the system can be controlled through it. For vehicles without drive profile selection, control is available via the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates the current valve position: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.
The Bull-X Tronic control unit automatically closes the valve in all areas required by the ECE regulations, regardless of the selected driving mode.
Two control options are available:
- Sport (Dynamic, Race): The valve is controlled within the permitted limits of the ECE regulations.
- Comfort mode: The valve remains closed at all times, but opens within the permitted limits of the ECE regulations while driving when the throttle is at least 75% open.
Road use: ECE approval applies to the version with the Bull-X Tronic control unit selected in the »Control mode selection« field. This version is intended for road use.
Suitable for: universal use (not vehicle-specific).
Approval
Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter). Versions marked “no ECE, track use only” have no approval and are not permitted for road use. If in doubt about the version, contact us and we will check for you.
