Road use: ECE approval applies only to the selection »Bull-X Tronic controller (with ECE approval)« in the »Control mode selection« field. With this selection, the compatible valved exhaust system may be used on public roads without being entered in the vehicle documents.
During driving, you can choose between Comfort and Sport mode. If the vehicle has selectable driving profiles, the system can be controlled through them. For vehicles without selectable driving profiles, control is provided by the supplied button. The button’s LED indicates the valve position: the valve is open when the light is off and closed when the light is on.
The Bull-X Tronic controller automatically closes the valve in all operating ranges required for ECE approval, regardless of the selected driving mode.
There are two main control options:
- Sport (Dynamic, Race): the valve is controlled within the limits permitted by the ECE approval.
- Comfort: the valve remains closed at all times, but opens during driving within the limits permitted by the ECE approval once the throttle is at least 75% open.
Suitable for: Toyota Supra V (DB).

Approval
Only the version marked “road legal” has a European ECE / EC approval (Bull-X Tronic controller with ECE or the HJS EC catalytic converter). Versions marked “no ECE, track use only” have no approval and are not permitted for road use. If in doubt about the version, contact us and we will check for you.
