CTS Turbo adjustable camshaft gear for 1.8T 20V engines with the 06A code enables precise camshaft timing adjustment within a range of ±10°. This allows you to adjust the engine characteristics by retarding or advancing the timing.
The gear’s outer rings are precisely machined to OE specifications for correct timing belt fitment and hard-anodised for reduced wear. High-quality ARP stainless steel bolts are used for reliable fastening. Etched position markings enable quick and precise checking of the camshaft position.
- The camshaft gear bolt must be replaced and tightened to the factory specifications or upgraded with an ARP bolt.
- Always check the adjustment plate bolts and tighten them to 12 ft/lbs.
