Longitudinally drilled CTS Turbo I-beam connecting rods measuring 144 × 22 mm are intended for VW and Audi 2.5L FSI 5-cylinder engines and use with aftermarket pistons. They are designed for larger turbochargers and higher boost pressures while maintaining reliability.
Longitudinal drilling
All CTS connecting rods are longitudinally drilled as standard.
Honing
The big and small ends of the connecting rods are honed in-house using precision equipment, ensuring accurate tolerances.
Quality control
All connecting rods undergo strict quality control, including measurement of all critical dimensions on a CMM coordinate measuring machine. The connecting rods are weight-matched with a tolerance of ±1 g.
ARP bolts
CTS Turbo connecting rods are equipped as standard with genuine ARP 2000 connecting rod bolts.
