CTS Turbo connecting rods measuring 144 × 20 mm are intended for use with upgraded pistons in 1.8T 20V and 2.0T FSI EA113 engines. They are designed for larger turbochargers and higher boost pressures while maintaining reliability.
Oil feed drilling
All CTS connecting rods are manufactured as standard with an internal oil passage (rifle drilled).
Honing
The big-end and small-end bores of the connecting rods are honed in-house using precision equipment, ensuring accurate tolerances.
Quality control
Each connecting rod undergoes a strict quality control process in which all key dimensions are checked on a CMM coordinate measuring machine. The connecting rods are weight-matched to within ±1 gram.
ARP bolts
CTS Turbo connecting rods are supplied as standard with genuine ARP 2000 connecting rod bolts.

Important compatibility information
The connecting rods are intended exclusively for use with performance or upgraded pistons. For 2.0T FSI EA113 engines, only versions with a timing belt apply.
