CTS Turbo connecting rods for Volkswagen VR6 2.8L/3.2L

CTS Turbo connecting rods measuring 164 × 20 mm with rifle-drilled bores are designed for VR6 engines and compatible with standard or performance pistons. They are suitable for larger turbo upgrades and higher boost pressures while maintaining engine reliability.

Rifle drilling

All CTS connecting rods are rifle drilled as standard. Factory connecting rod bearings are not drilled, but they can still be used. Drilled bearings are no longer available from the manufacturer.

Honing

The big-end and small-end connecting rod bearings are honed on precision equipment to very tight tolerances.

Quality control

All connecting rods undergo strict quality control, including measurement of all critical dimensions on a CMM coordinate measuring machine. The connecting rods are weight-matched to within ± 1 g.

ARP bolts

All CTS Turbo connecting rods are equipped as standard with genuine ARP 2000 connecting rod bolts.
