The lightweight CTS Turbo crankshaft pulley for MK5 FSI applications reduces internal engine resistance, allowing the revs to rise more quickly and providing more available power. The supplier states an expected gain of 5–7 hp.
The pulley is made from T6 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium and hard anodised for reduced wear.
