CTS Turbo crossover exhaust pipe for BMW M3/M4 G80/G82 S58

The CTS Turbo crossover exhaust pipe, also known as an intermediate pipe, is designed for BMW M3 and M4 vehicles with the S58 engine. It replaces the OEM crossover pipe while retaining a round pipe shape for smoother exhaust gas flow.

The G80 M3 and G82 M4 use a Y-shaped centre exhaust section, with both downpipes on the right-hand side of the engine. The left-hand downpipe connects to the crossover pipe, which runs beneath the gearbox and connects to the centre pipes on the left-hand side.

The OEM crossover pipe is oval in shape to provide sufficient clearance beneath the gearbox. The transition from a round to an oval shape causes turbulence and restricts exhaust gas flow. The CTS Turbo replacement pipe retains its round diameter, eliminating the turbulence and restriction associated with the oval design. According to the manufacturer, this may help increase power and torque.
