CTS Turbo engine mount for VAG MQB/MQB EVO

The upgraded CTS Turbo dogbone engine mount for Volkswagen and Audi models on the MQB and MQB EVO platforms is a complete, higher-performance replacement for the factory rubber mounts. It is made from high-hardness rubber for increased performance and durability.

It is made from 65 durometer rubber, while the factory part has a hardness of 55 durometer. The upper mount features a steel threaded insert, providing greater resistance to thread damage compared with the factory aluminium insert.

The upgrade reduces drivetrain movement, improves shift feel and reduces wheel hop, while the increase in noise, vibration and harshness in the cabin is barely noticeable. Vibrations may be more pronounced in vehicles with a DSG or automatic gearbox, or in vehicles with worn or damaged factory engine and gearbox mounts. After installation, we recommend at least 500 kilometres of running-in for the mounts.

Note: The subframe must be removed to remove the mount. The factory dogbone mount must be pressed out and the new mount pressed in. Professional installation is highly recommended.
