The engine mount insert is designed for VW/Audi models on the MQB platform manufactured up to 27 September 2015, as well as the VW Golf R from model year 2022 onwards.
The insert reduces engine movement during gear changes and acceleration, effectively eliminating play and movement in the drivetrain. It does not cause additional vibrations or harsher operation, even at idle or when starting the engine.
It is made from high-quality T6061 aluminium produced in-house and black anodised for long-lasting, trouble-free use.
Installation is simple and requires only basic hand tools. Remove the factory engine mount bolt, install the insert, refit the bolt and tighten it to 74 ft/lbs (100 Nm).
Important: on 2015 vehicles, the product is suitable only for production dates up to 27 September 2015. It is also suitable for the VW Golf R from model year 2022 onwards.
