CTS Turbo forged H-beam connecting rods measuring 144 × 22 mm are designed for VW and Audi 2.0 TSI engines and use with aftermarket pistons. They are engineered for applications with a larger turbocharger and high boost pressure, while maintaining reliability thanks in part to the standard rifle-drilled design.
Rifle drilling
All CTS connecting rods are forged and rifle-drilled as standard.
Honing
The big-end and small-end bores are machined and honed on precision equipment with very tight tolerances.
Quality control
All connecting rods undergo a strict quality-control process that includes measuring all key dimensions on a CMM coordinate measuring machine. The connecting rods are weight-matched to within ±1 gram.
ARP bolts
CTS Turbo connecting rods are supplied as standard with genuine ARP 2000 connecting rod bolts.
