CTS Turbo I-beam connecting rods with a length of 138.55 mm and a tapered small end with wrist pin are intended for MINI R56 N14/N18 engines and designed for use with standard pistons. They are suitable for upgrades with a larger turbocharger and higher boost pressures, while maintaining reliability.
Honing
The large- and small-end bores are honed in-house using precision equipment, in accordance with the required tolerances.
Quality control
All connecting rods undergo strict quality control, including measurement of all critical dimensions on a modern coordinate measuring machine (CMM). The connecting rods are weight-matched to within ±1 gram.
ARP bolts
All CTS Turbo connecting rods are supplied as standard with genuine ARP 2000 connecting rod bolts.
