CTS Turbo RFD (Runner Flap Delete) enables the removal of the runner flaps from the factory intake manifold on FSI engines, including Golf R MK6 models.
The factory intake manifold flaps can represent a significant airflow restriction on modified vehicles. The CTS RFD kit is designed to reduce these restrictions; with suitable tuning, gains of up to almost 10 whp and 10 wtq are possible, according to the manufacturer.
Dedicated tuning for RFD is required.
Only for 2.0T FSI engines with a timing belt (EA113).
Not suitable for TSI/TFSI (EA888.1 or EA888.2) or MQB vehicles with a Gen3 TSI engine (EA888.3). Not compatible with Golf R MK7 or Audi S3 8V models.
