The CTS Turbo intake system is a complete replacement for the original intake system in F-series BMWs with the B58 3.0L engine.
It is designed to provide the greatest possible intake airflow. The system is based on a massive 6-inch cone-shaped performance air filter that can be cleaned and reused, connected to the turbo inlet pipe by a 3.5-inch aluminium pipe. The system is compatible with factory and aftermarket turbo inlet pipes.
Two heat shields with rubber seals are included to keep intake air temperatures as low as possible. The revised version features a more securely mounted intake pipe and improved heat shield sealing.
Without any additional software tuning, the stated gains are up to 12 to 20 hp, depending on the fuel and altitude. The system improves engine response and sound and can increase power and torque throughout the rev range.

Compatibility
Suitable only for BMW M140i, M240i, 340i and 440i models with the B58 3.0L engine from the F-series, chassis F22/F23/F30/F32/F33/F34/F36, model years 2015–2019. Fits left- and right-hand-drive vehicles, as well as rear-wheel-drive and xDrive all-wheel-drive versions.
Does not fit G-series vehicles (2020 and newer).
According to the manufacturer, extensive testing on various vehicles with the B58 engine did not detect the engine warning light (CEL) coming on.
