The CTS Turbo intake system for BMW B58 3.0L is a complete replacement for the factory air filter system on the G20 M340i, G22 M440i and G42 M240i models.
The design is intended to maximise airflow and produce a more pronounced, race-inspired intake sound.
The kit is based around a large 6-inch performance air filter with a velocity stack adapter. The system uses a 4-inch aluminium pipe with a smooth internal surface that connects correctly to the turbo intake hose. The MAF sensor mount is CNC-machined, and the sensor is installed in the same orientation as in the factory system for accurate readings.
According to the manufacturer, without any additional software adjustments, the system can achieve a 12–20 hp increase in peak power, depending on the fuel and altitude. Together, the components improve airflow and contribute to greater power and torque throughout the rev range.

Important: On models from the 2025 model year onwards, the turbo intake connection is smaller than 4 inches. The supplied reducer must be used to install the intake system. The kit is suitable for left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive vehicles.
