The high-flow CTS Turbo intake system for Mercedes-Benz M177 engines is a direct replacement for the original intake system. It is designed to provide high intake airflow.
According to the manufacturer, the system can provide an increase in maximum power of 12–20 hp without any additional adjustment of the engine electronics, depending on the fuel and altitude. The individual system components work together to provide more power and torque throughout the rev range, while also creating a more pronounced, race-inspired sound.
