The CTS Turbo 3″ intake system is designed for 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI engines from the EA888.1 and EA888.3 generations in VW and Audi vehicles. The kit contains components that allow use with both engine generations.
The air intake scoop works together with the closed airbox and feeds cold air into the 3″ intake system. The air then passes through a high-flow cone performance air filter with an inverted cone design. The 3″ CNC aluminium intake pipe, with smooth mandrel-bent transitions, ensures an uninterrupted air supply to the engine. The supplier states a power increase of 9–15 WHP on a standard vehicle, or even more on an optimised engine. The system uses the original MAF housing when the vehicle is equipped with one, so fuel trims should remain correct.
All system components work together to increase power and torque throughout the rev range, while providing a more pronounced, race-inspired engine sound.
The kit is also compatible with CTS Turbo BOSS kits for Gen1 TSI engines. The intake pipe has two 1/8 NPT ports for easy installation of the BOSS kit.

Compatibility limitations
The product is intended for EA888.1 and EA888.3 engines without the MQB platform. It is not suitable for B-cycle or Miller-cycle engines. It does not fit Tiguan, Audi Q3 or later Golf MK6 models with a Gen3 B-cycle engine.
Before installation, check whether your vehicle requires a filter for venting the secondary injection system. Check the hose connected to the airbox behind the headlamp.
