CTS Turbo intake system for VAG MQB 1.8T/2.0T Gen3B with MAF

CTS Turbo presents a new 3-inch intake system for the VW Tiguan 2.0T B-cycle, Audi A3 1.8T/2.0T, Audi TT 1.8T and Audi Q3 1.8T/2.0T on the MQB platform with Gen3B engines. The system is also intended for tuned vehicles that require greater airflow.

The original air intake works together with the airbox and supplies cold air to the intake system. The air then passes through a 3-inch high-flow air filter with an inverted conical element for more efficient engine breathing. The 3-inch CNC aluminium intake pipe with mandrel bends allows the smoothest possible entry of cold air into the engine and reduces turbulence caused by unnecessary joints. All CTS system components work together to provide increased power and torque throughout the rev range, as well as a more pronounced, race-inspired sound.

The maximum power increase on an otherwise standard vehicle is 8–10 hp. For a more authentic engine sound and reduced excessive droning, we recommend switching off the Soundaktor system or sound amplifier.

Compatibility is limited to vehicles with a Gen3B engine and MAF sensor. Before installation, check whether your vehicle is equipped with a MAF sensor.
