The TSI fuel system uses two separate pumps: a low-pressure fuel pump (LPFP) and a high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP). While several solutions are available for the HPFP, including the Autotech pump, there are fewer options for upgrading the low-pressure system.
CTS Turbo has developed a fully integrated fuel system with an auxiliary pump in the tank that supports more than 600 hp. The system uses a load-based pump controller that activates the auxiliary pump only when the engine needs additional fuel flow.
