The kit contains all the components required to install 1300-cm³ multi-port injection (MPI) in MQB vehicles. It enables port injection to be added to the factory North American intake manifold and is intended to utilise the performance of upgraded systems with a large turbocharger.
All required hardware is included, and the system operates with the factory ECU. Dedicated ECU tuning software is required for correct operation. CTS’s CNC-machined aluminium high-flow fuel rail is modelled on the factory part for precise installation and accurate fuel pressure readings.
Important: modifications to the intake manifold and fuel system are required. The intake manifold must be removed and modified, and wiring connections to the ECU are also required. Installation should be carried out by an experienced installer.
Suitable tuning software is required.
