The CTS Turbo high-flow intake system is designed for the VW Jetta MK7 and VW Golf MK7/MK7.5 with the 1.4 TSI EA211 Gen2 engine. It is the largest intake system in the CTS Turbo range and is also suitable for modified vehicles that require greater airflow.
The original air intake works together with the included airbox to deliver cold air into the intake system. The air then passes through a 3″ high-flow air filter with an inverted conical design. All system components are matched to each other for improved airflow, increased power and torque throughout the rev range, and a more pronounced, sportier engine sound.
On a standard vehicle, claimed maximum gains are 6–7 hp. The intake system was developed for the North American Volkswagen Golf and Jetta MK7 models with the 1.4 TSI engine. Use on other variants for the rest of the world (RoW) has not been confirmed.
