The factory front reinforcement on Audi Q5/SQ5 models is made from thin pressed aluminium, which can allow the body to twist and flex laterally during aggressive cornering. The CTS Turbo strut brace is a significant upgrade for Q5 and SQ5 models from the B9/B9.5 generation, helping to eliminate imprecise steering response and a detached feel from the front end of the vehicle.
The chassis reinforcement is made from heavy-duty machined T6-6061 aluminium and replaces the inadequate individual factory braces. By limiting lateral deflection at the upper damper mounting points, it helps maintain the correct suspension geometry during intense cornering. The central connecting element links the left and right upper mounts, providing more precise and consistent feedback from the front end of the vehicle.
The product was thoroughly tested on an Audi SQ5 B9 development vehicle before launch. Installation takes only a few minutes, and removal is fully reversible. The strut brace is intended for Audi Q5 and SQ5 vehicles from the B9/B9.5 generation, built between 2018–2024.
