The CTS Turbo 3″ turbo-back exhaust system for VW MK7 GTI is hand TIG-welded from high-quality T304 stainless steel. The system is designed for road use and vehicles with larger turbochargers. Compared with exhaust systems for the MK7 GTI using 2.5- or 2.75-inch pipes, the 3-inch design allows better exhaust gas flow.
The downpipe for the CTS Turbo MK7 GTI is fully TIG-welded and made from seamless 3″-diameter T304 stainless steel. Stainless steel installation hardware and clamps are included. The larger pipe diameter allows less turbulence as exhaust gases exit the turbocharger and wastegate valve, contributing to faster boost build-up and increased power and torque throughout the rev range.
