The 3-inch CTS Turbo turbo-back exhaust system for the Volkswagen Jetta MK6 Gen3 platform is hand TIG-welded from high-quality T304 stainless steel. It is designed for road use and vehicles with a larger turbocharger. The larger pipe diameter compared with standard 2.5″ or 2.75″ systems allows improved exhaust gas flow.
The downpipe is fully TIG-welded and made from 3-inch seamless T304 stainless steel. The kit includes mounting hardware and stainless steel hose clamps. It replaces the factory downpipe and enables faster turbocharger response and greater peak power. The larger pipe diameter reduces turbulence at the outlet of the turbocharger and wastegate valve, contributing to greater power and torque throughout the rev range.
Stage 2 software is required for correct operation and to prevent the engine warning light (CEL) from coming on.
The exhaust system is intended for 1.8TSI and 2.0T engines with a V-band flange downpipe.
