The CTS Turbo turbo blanket insulates heat produced by the IHI IS12/IS20/IS38 turbocharger. It is designed to reduce turbo lag, lower intake air temperature, protect and extend the service life of engine components, and increase power. By retaining exhaust gas heat in the turbocharger’s hot side and away from the cold side and intake tract, more oxygen per unit of displacement reaches the engine, which can contribute to increased power.
The turbo blanket is suitable for IHI turbochargers on MQB-platform vehicles.
