The high-flow cast aluminium CTS Turbo turbo muffler delete is designed for Gen1 EA888 2.0 TSI engines with the factory turbocharger.
The product is made as a one-piece aluminium design, CNC-machined for precise fitment without an additional joining pipe.
The turbo muffler delete replaces the restrictive original turbocharger connection, which is designed to reduce harmonic turbocharger noise. By removing this restriction, the manufacturer states that power increases by 6–7 hp and throttle response is improved.
Installation takes approximately 30 minutes and can be completed with hand tools. The product fits precisely and is compatible with any turbocharger outlet pipe, whether original or upgraded.
For optimal power and boost response, this CTS Turbo turbo muffler delete is designed for EA888.1 TSI engines.
Note: the product is compatible only with the factory turbocharger on Gen1 TSI engines. It is not intended for MQB vehicles.
