Einparts brake fluid tester DOT 3 / DOT 4 / DOT 5.1 with 0.96″ LCD display

The electronic brake fluid tester gives an indicative reading of the water content in DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 fluids. A button above the screen lets you select the class of the fluid being tested before you measure.

The backlit 0.96″ HTN LCD shows the result digitally and changes colour according to the water content detected. The measurement is also signalled with a sound, and a battery indicator lets you keep an eye on the power. The metal sensors are protected by a removable cap, and a side clip makes the tester easy to carry and keep in a pocket or glovebox.

Reading the result:

• green: below 1.5 % water, fluid in good condition
• yellow: below 3 % water, checking the condition of the fluid recommended
• red: 3 % to 4 % water, fluid replacement recommended

How to use: switch the device on, select the fluid class, remove the cap and dip the metal tip into the fluid. Once the reading settles, clean and dry the sensors and put the cap back on. The product is not intended for silicone DOT 5 fluids. The pack contains the tester and the user manual.
